The Madding Crowd researches and performs the church and secular music of the English village bands and choirs in the period 1660 to 1861.

Our next event is on Saturday 29 September. The Michaelmas Fair at St Cross runs from 10 until 4:30.
In the afternoon we will be singing and playing a variety of religious, folk and patriotic songs in a relaxed outdoor setting. There will be a chance to join in both singing and dancing.

The next guest night will be on Sunday 7th October.
